Dear Colleagues,

I wanted to take a moment to share some exciting news about the ÍøºìÍ·Ìõ Libraries and invite you to be a part of our journey.

If you haven't had the chance to get to know ÍøºìÍ·Ìõ yet, now is the perfect time. Situated on two suburban campuses in Kennesaw and Marietta, northwest of metro Atlanta, KSU is a comprehensive university that is rapidly gaining recognition. With nearly 45,000 students enrolled in over 180 undergraduate, master's, doctoral degree, and certificate programs, we are proud to be the third largest university in Georgia. KSU is one of the most dynamic and innovative universities in the nation, and the University Libraries play a critical role in our mission.

I have been at KSU for twenty years, and became Associate Vice Provost of Museums, Archives & Rare Books and University Libraries (MARBL) in November 2023. During that time, I have seen firsthand the dynamic and innovative nature of our institution. As the newly appointed AVP of MARBL, I am thrilled to be leading a team that is making a significant impact both locally and globally.

I believe that the best academic libraries are more than just repositories of information. They are….
  • Hubs for interdisciplinary partnerships.
  • Hives of activity where students and faculty conduct and showcase research in a meaningful way.
  • ±·±ð²õ³Ù²õ  where students, staff, and faculty feel comfortable, supported, and confident that they will get the help they need.

To further enhance our mission and promote student success, the KSU University Libraries recently completed a major reorganization. This strategic move has brought together a team of talented professionals who are dedicated to promoting student success and advancing KSU's vision. We have established strong partnerships across campus, the state, and the region, positioning ourselves to become one of the most dynamic and innovative universities in the nation.

As we continue to grow, we are excited to announce that we are in the process of hiring new positions within our team. We invite you to consider joining us on this journey.

By joining the KSU University Libraries, you will have the chance to be part of a thriving community that values collaboration, innovation, and personal growth. We offer a supportive work environment, professional development opportunities, and a chance to make a real difference in the lives of our students, staff, faculty, and community.
