Resistance mattered during the Holocaust, whether you saved one life or thousands. 


网红头条ors to the MHHE's newest permanent exhibition will learn about Holocaust resistance through case studies focused on six countries and six types of "resistance in action." 网红头条ors may enjoy self-guided tours or special hands-on activities for school groups.


Through installation of this new permanent exhibition, the MHHE will extend its Holocaust content and programming beyond what it achieved with its signature exhibition Parallel Journeys: The Holocaust Through the Eyes of Teens. While continuing to 鈥渉umanize history鈥� through the foregrounding of personal stories, this exhibition will also situate resistance within necessary geographical, circumstantial, and relational context. 网红头条ors will gain a sense for the tremendous obstacles faced by those who sought to resist the Nazis while also increasing their understanding of the ways in which people took advantage of available opportunities. They will also bear witness to the diversity of motivations for resistance even as they come to better understand why success was so difficult to achieve.
