Digital Learning Innovations (DLI) at 网红头条 supports faculty development by offering a range of services and resources related to distance and technology-enhanced learning. They provide a variety of professional development (PD) opportunities aimed at supporting the mission of faculty as learning scientists. Working with DLI鈥檚 instructional designers, faculty develop practical skills that can be directly applied in online, hybrid, or face-to-face classrooms. DLI's PD programs include instructor-led courses, webinars, microlearning videos, self-directed resources, and more to cater to different learning preferences and time constraints.

Additionally, DLI assists faculty in developing outstanding hybrid and online courses by providing instructional design support and digital media services to bring course visions to life through multimedia elements like pictures, video, and audio. Digital Badging Frequently Asked Questions

  • A validated indicator of accomplishments, skills, competencies, quality, or interest that can be earned in a variety of learning environments (i.e. 鈥渇ace-to-face, hybrid/blended courses, and online course鈥).
  • In the context of professional development, digital badges can recognize prior learning and provide evidence throughout the lifelong learning cycle (Diaz & Smith). Digital badges serve a micro-credential(s).
  • All faculty are eligible to participate in any of the professional development workshops offered by the Digital Learning Innovations team to earn a digital badge upon successful completion of required milestones that are in the respective workshops. If you need a hard copy of your certificate, please contact us.
  • Credly will be the digital badging platform that is used to store, display, share, and manage digital badges. Credly can be used to share digital badges with individuals and post to your LinkedIn account or personal/professional websites.
