Madeleine Carden and Jalyn Wharton share their experiences
The at 网红头条 has released a new podcast episode featuring two members of the First-Gen Owls club. The club provides a community for first-generation students at KSU and offers resources to help students navigate financial aid, choosing a major and more.
This episode features Madeleine Carden, vice president of the club, and Jalyn Wharton, membership chair.
Carden, a nursing major with a minor in psychology, and Wharton, an accounting major and information systems minor, discuss their individual journey to KSU and how the First-Gen Owls club has helped them navigate college. They also share events and resources the club offers, including social events for first generation students and resource-sharing panels where students can ask questions about college life.
