New KSU Info Hotline helps support student academic success

KENNESAW, Ga. | Oct 7, 2020

ͷ has launched the KSU Info Hotline, making it easier for students to get the information they need and help them better navigate their academic journey and enhance their overall student experience.

Operated by KSU’s Division of Enrollment Services, the hotline will put students directly in touch with staff members and student ambassadors via a dedicated phoneline – 470-KSU-INFO (470-578-4636). The team will answer questions ranging from building locations, tutoring schedules, and registration to event times, meal options, Big Owl Bus schedules and more.

“Kennesaw State’s student-first mission means that we are always looking for opportunities to enhance the student experience through innovative, problem-solving solutions,” said KSU President Pamela Whitten. “As an added benefit, many of those staffing the hotline will be students themselves, which makes the question-and-answer process that much more comfortable for student callers.

The hotline is the latest addition the Division has introduced to help students obtain vital information. Earlier this year, it launched a concierge service, a team of staff members who proactively reach out to students about specific topics and available resources that assist with their progression toward graduation. The concierge team, who will also support the hotline, are beginning to reach out to seniors this month to answer questions about how to petition to graduate.

“Our team is focused on connecting with students before they make the decision to attend KSU and throughout their academic career at the University,” said Brenda Stopher, vice president for Enrollment Services. “Resources like the KSU Info Hotline and the concierge service helps us ensure that we are providing them with the information they need when they need it so that they can be successful at KSU and beyond.”
