Homecoming 2021 has moved from the fall to the spring, and kicked off at Kennesaw State University on Monday with a combination of in-person and virtual activities to celebrate all things Owls.
The week celebrates KSU by uniting students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends, community members and organizations in anticipation of Homecoming Day on Saturday, March 20. The traditional football game headlines this year鈥檚 festivities, as the Owls take on Dixie State at 1 p.m. at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
In addition to a week of activities, the KSU community will participate in a Can-A-Thon service project to help CARE Services, which provides support to students in need.
Events for the week include:
Monday, March 15
7 p.m. 鈥 Action at the Fraction, featuring a showing of 鈥淭he Wizard of Oz鈥 (Fifth Third Bank Stadium)
Tuesday, March 16
6 p.m. 鈥 Cardboard Boat Regatta, in-person for competitors at Student Recreation Activities Center, spectating online (Kennesaw Campus)
Wednesday, March 17
6 p.m. 鈥 The Amazing Race, Homecoming Edition (Kennesaw Campus)
Thursday, March 18
7 p.m. 鈥 Lip Sync Battle (Fifth Third Bank Stadium)
Friday, March 19
3 p.m. 鈥 Food Truck Festival (Brandsmart Parking Lot)
6:30 p.m. 鈥 Homecoming Court reunion (Virtual)
Saturday, March 20
1 p.m. 鈥 KSU vs. Dixie State (Fifth Third Bank Stadium)
