Student Success Coaching

In collaboration with Student Success Programs, Student Success Coaches exist to provide personalized, collaborative, one-on-one guidance to our students to address the holistic needs that may impact their academic success. By understanding and addressing each student's social, cultural, financial, career, and well-being goals and strengths, coaches help to improve their academic and personal success. Their approach is rooted in a culturally responsive and inclusive lens to empower each student to build personal agency and self-efficacy for their future.

Peer Leader Program

The HOLA Peer Leader program consists of upperclassmen who are actively involved in HOLA and other student organizations. The Peer Leaders work to build relationships with incoming students during their transition into college and throughout their first year. Peer leaders also help promote student success for returning upperclassmen. Their overall goal is to create a sense of belonging and inclusion while advocating for all new HOLA scholars entering KSU and contributing to the retention and progression of the program.
